Common Questions
What is verymaine?
verymaine brings together sellers and buyers of Maine vacation real estate. We're also a great place to view tons of Maine properties for sale...and dream a little. We love Maine as much as you do!
Does it cost anything to use verymaine?
It is absolutely, 100% free for visitors to use.
Who do I contact if I want more information about a property?
Contact the seller or agent directly. You can send a direct message with your contact information and any specific questions – just use the email form at the bottom of the property listing or call them on the phone number listed.
What if someone doesn't get back to me?
Typically, you should hear back from a seller or agent in a day. But if you don't hear back after a few days, it's appropriate for you to try again. If you haven't heard in a week, consider any alternate contact info the seller included (phone, website, etc.) – or you can contact us at verymaine and we'd be happy to reach out on your behalf.
Do you make recommendations for real estate agents?
While we don't make recommendations, we'd be happy to pass along contact info to any of the real estate professionals we know through verymaine. Maine is blessed with lots of passionate and skilled real estate pros!
Can I save my favorite properties?
Absolutely. You'll need to create a "Quick Account," which is just what the name says – a personal account on verymaine that's super quick to set up. Then you can save and manage your favorite properties.
Where can I find my favorite properties?
Every time you log in to verymaine, you'll find your favorites on the I'm A Buyer pull-down menu at the top right-hand of the page.
How do I share properties with other people?
If you're on a property detail and you want to share it, just look on the left-side of the page for a small button that says "Share This Property." Underneath it are buttons for social media sites so you can share on Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, Google Plus--or email, of course.
What if a listing is not on the site any longer?
If it was a favorite, discovering that it's no longer on the site is never a good sign. Most likely, it's been sold. But if you must find out, we would be happy to check in with the seller to confirm for you. Send us a note and we'll get right on it!
